´ºÓêÖ±²¥ Me
At a young age, I was interested in the human body and what it was capable of. As I learned through my undergraduate and graduate studies, I became interested in movement-related changes that occur across the lifespan. While many of these changes are considered universal, I stress the importance of looking at and treating everyone as individuals. Whether our students are interested in non-clinical or clinical professions, if we are working to enhance other’s movements, then we are all teachers. Teachers should recognize differences as important as similarities. Therefore, one prescription does not apply to all! My goal is to take a holistic approach to teaching. I hope students learn how to apply course content and walk away from each of my classes with life skills. I do this by providing students autonomy when working with others within the classroom and out in the community.
