This project involves the replacement of select roof components on the cupola; lead paint abatement; a complete re-coating and re-painting; select repair to existing metal; and a replacement of the columns, column bases, and column capitals. The new columns, bases, and capitals will be made of a composite resin as opposed to wood. This material is approved by Illinois Historic Preservation Association (IHPA).
