Our Program Objectives:

School Counseling Program

Students preparing to work as school counselors will demonstrate the professional knowledge, skills, and practices necessary to promote academic, career, and personal/social development of all K-12 students.

Methods of Instruction

The Department of Counselor Education offers both didactic and clinical curricular experiences. Courses are primarily offered  face-to-face. Instructional methods include, but are not limited to lecture, case studies, discussion forums, role-plays, and the use of audio/visual media.
